Library
Library is a collection of information, resources and services . It is organized for use and maintained by the institution. In traditional sense we can say library is a collection of books and other reading materials. No educational institution is complete without a good, well stocked library nor can education be completed without reading.Our institute has a well stocked, spacious, scientific literature and well ventilated library which houses about 10,000 books on different technical subjects namely Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, etc. Institute library also subscribes 40 National and International journals and magazines. Our library is also a member of INDEST-AICTE and DELNET on online resources.
CITM library is fully computerized with library management software. All books and other literature's are entered in the software. Institute library has also 350 CD’s and DVD’s. The library has its independent computer section in reading room. All books of library are classified according to Dewey decimal classification and arranged accordingly. The library remains open on working days from 9: 30 am to 5:15 pm. Institute library is also providing facilities of Book-Bank Scheme for the students. Under Book-Bank Scheme every student is getting books for a semester which he/she neednot renew every now and then.
There is also reference section in the institute library. In the reference section we have subscribed 45 National and International journals for the students and staff. All the titles which are there in the library are also available in reference section for the benefit of students and staff. Most of encyclopedias and dictionaries are also available in the reference section. Institute library is also providing books facilities to the students residing in the hostel.
