The students and staff celebrated Engineer’s Day on 15th Sep. 2006 with great enthusiasm. An essay writing competition was conducted for the students on this occasion. The chief guests were the District Collector Mr. Vivek Agarwal and Mr. Pramod Agarwal (MD, MPEB). Prof. Van Impe from Belgium was invited to the institute to appraise students about higher education and job opportunities in India and Europe.

On 15th August 2007, the Independence Day was celebrated with a difference. The staff and students planted saplings in the campus to make the campus eco friendly.

The Energy Club organized an Inter Collegiate Debate Competition on 20th Aug. 2007 and several reputed colleges participated in the event.

In order to hone the teaching skills of our faculty development program was organized on 22nd and 23rd Sep. 2007. The training program aptly named “Acharya Pranam” was conducted by V Ramachandran and K Aravmootham from Chennai. This training program was well received and greatly appreciated by the faculty.

15th September-Teacher’s day was celebrated in a very special way in which one of the great teachers of our chairman was fecilated , it was quite a sentimental moment in which there were tears of joy in the eyes of both the teacher and taught.

Mr. R. Mallesh, a young engineer from company Micron, USA guided students in the aspect of securing admissions for post graduate courses at various universities in USA on 10th Jan. 2008.

In order to provide a cutting edge to our students in the process of campus selection, we used the services of an expert trainer and motivation expert, Mr Shashank Kasliwal and his team. The training program started from 9th Feb 2008 and went on for a full year.

To appease and convince book lovers of Indore, the college organized a Book Exhibition in the campus on 7th March 2008, in which all leading technical and general book publishers exhibited their books for the benefit of the students and teachers.

“Sinchan” the college annual day was celebrated with great pomp and festivity on 29th Mar. 2008. The funfair and entertainment programs were real stress busters and provided great thrill to the students and staff alike.

We organized a “General Awareness Program” GAP-2008 in DAVV Auditorium with media partners ‘Nai Duniya’ and ‘Big FM’ to aware parents and students with problems faced during PEPT Counseling. In this program experts associated with the PEPT counseling process clarified doubts of students and their parents.
